New Things!

New Things!

Welcome!

I am so glad to have you here. This year, I have big plans for my embroidery shop and my art practice. Starting in January, I decided I wanted to lean all in to what I'm passionate about, so I have been working on new and exciting projects, including this website! With that said, I'd like to thank Digital Main Street, a Toronto-based not-for-profit that helps businesses get online. I was apart of their ShopHERE program, in which they help to create websites for small businesses for free. If you own a small business or know someone who does, I'd highly recommend checking out Digital Main Street's programs. You can find more information here

Additionally, I now have my products in two different, new stores: Bluem Vintage Denim at 1041 Ottawa Street in Windsor, ON and Lavender & Honey at 25 King Street East in Chatham, ON! At both of these stores, you'll find my tote bags and key chains!

Lastly (for now!), one of my embroidery pieces (pictured above) was accepted to be in an online magazine! HNDL magazine features the work of neurodivergent, disabled, and/or chronically ill creatives. I am going to be in their 'Joy' issue, and my inspiration for my piece came from the unique interests or niches that neurodivergent people can develop. For example, I imagined someone having a collection of whimsical teapots that are shaped like unexpected things, and the idea of an elephant-shaped teapot popped into my head! As a neurodivergent and disabled person, I find joy in other neurodivergent and/or disabled folks expressing themselves, enjoying what makes them happy, and existing as they are. That's what I wanted to capture with this piece, and I hope it brings you joy too!

Thanks for dropping by, and I hope you'll come back soon! <3
